This book the biology of human behavior with my own students in mind, my undergraduate course in physiological psychology attracts a diverse group of individuals, with varying backgrounds : psychology majors who usually have a limited background in biology and chemistry, but who have taken several psychology courses, speech and communication disorders major who have a minimal background in psychology, but who have taken at least some college biology, and a few pre health professions students who have an extensive background in biology and chemistry but little if any preparation in psychology
